nders Carlsson, ENGENSEC project coordinator, visited the partner Saint Petersburg State University of Telecommunications (SUT) on 5-7 June 2014. The goal of the meeting is to set the agenda of the next consortium meeting and to check the meeting site conditions.
Anders Carlsson had a meeting with Georgi Mashkov, the first vice-rector for academic affairs. Georgi mentioned the importance of project realization in the SUT. Partners discussed the SUT possibilities of accommodation for partner students in student hostels and possibility for diploma defence in English. The university administration promised to help with this issue.
Professor Andrey Krasov, a vice-head of the chair of Communications and Information Systems Security, and Igor Ushakov, an assistant professor, organized an excursion to the university campus. The laboratory equipment of the chair, including the modern Cisco Systems Inc equipment, was demonstrated to the project coordinator.
Anders Carlsson noticed an excellent laboratory facilities of the university and expressed his confidence that the next coordination meeting of the consortium will be in very good conditions.
